    • verified customers concern and found battery has no voltage. checked oil and coolant leak. when pressurizing system coolant was escaping from water outlet. found oil leaking from oil pans (upper and lower) as well as valve cover. upon further inspection noticed throttle body soaked in oil. removing air duct found oil dripping from duct. this indicates the turbo is internally leaking. REPLACE AGM BATTERY, WATER OUTLET AND THERMOSTAT, RESEAL OIL PANS (UPPER AND LOWER) AND VALVE COVER. REPLACE TURBO ,INTERCOOLER AND NECESSARY SENSORS. *NOTE* RECOMMEND COSTUMER TO PUT HIGH OCTANE FUEL DUE TO VEHICLE SITTING FOR PROLONGED PERIOD OF TIME TO CLEAN FUEL SYSTEM

    • Couldn't replicate message upon test drive Did full scan found dtc U0121 lost communication with ABS module…test drove the car to activate ABS module on panic brakes found intermittently the ABS module is not activating Inspecting brake system, found brake fluid low and slightly dirty Front pads 7mm, Rear pads 6mm All rotors slightly glazed. REC brake flush then recheck if the message pops again recommend replacing ABS module

    • Verified customer concern found the A/c compressor is not engaging checked the pressure on both high and low side found the system is low on freon evac the system and noticed its low by half a pound recharged the system to spec and tried running the A/C the compressor clutch still did not engage checked for power and ground both were present at the A/C harness rec replacing A/C compressor and expansion valve and recheck

    • Verified customer concern scanned for codes and found: P0299 engine under boost visually inspected the engine bay found oil inside and around the throttle body and the air intake boot to turbo inlet took the air inlet boot off and noticed turbo was internally leaking oil , started the engine and tried to rev it to actuate the waste gate it was very weak and very minimum movement noticed. *Recommend replacing the air intake boot, the intercooler, the plastic charge air cool pipe, turbo boost pressure sensor, and clean the throttle body (due to oil contamination)
    • Replaced failed turbo charger with new turbo charger provided by customers extended warranty.
    • Replaced oil contaminated air cooler with new warranty provided charge air cooler
    • Valve cover gasket leaking oil Valve covers are under warranty with Tire Works customer will have to take vehicle back to get warranted. Front rotors are grooved but pads are in good health 7-8mm

    • – started vehicle; verified check engine light is ON and FLASHING. Verified traction control light on. – misfires can be felt with engine running – scanned vehicle – p0300: misfire detected – p050D: cold start rough idle – FREEZE FRAME; p0305: cyl. 5 misfire – scan data; BANK2 LONG TERM FUEL TRIM: -5.3%. Bk1: 0.8% – visually inspected ignition coils, connections, and wiring. Inspected plugs and coil wiring/boots. Visually inspected fuel rail and fuel injector bodies and connectors and found no obvious concerns – swapped coils #3 and #5 and ran vehicle. While watching misfire counter on scan tool, observed misfire moved from Cyl.5 to Cyl.3. NEEDS AN IGNITION COIL. REPLACE COIL, CLEAR CODES, ROAD TEST TO VERIFY MISFIRE REPAIR.
    • Replaced the ignition coil for cylinder #5 test drove the vehicle no drive ability issue
    • OIL PAN GASKET – Remove & Replace – RWD Lower

Condition ok. – started vehicle multiple times and road tested vehicle to enable start/stop to occur. Starter makes a loud metallic scraping noise with every startup. – lifted vehicle and visually inspected starter assembly – starter assembly, cables, and hardware show no signs of external damage or other obvious concerns – NEED TO REMOVE STARTER TO INSPECT STARTER PINION GEAR AND FLYWHEEL FOR DAMAGE.
