- Verified customer concern Unable to start vehicle without jump starting vehicle Checked vehicle battery and found its new and ford brand need minimum 4 hours of electrical diagnosis
- After checking 12 volt battery charging status found its not getting charged, continued diagnosing the charging system found 10Amp fuse for battery electronics control module is blown replaced the 10Amp fuse and still battery was not getting charged. Performed further diagnose and found 15Amp fuse for Battery electronics control module is blown and also 15Amp fuse for charge fan (C-Max Energy) is blown. Replaced both 15Amp fuses, still the charging system was not working. Continued diagnosing and found 30Amp and 40Amp fuse for AC/DC charger , DC/AC power converter is blown as well. Replaced both fuses and still car was not charging. Continued diagnosing and found multiple fuses blown and the main power supply fuses 175Amp after replacing the 175Amp fuse finally the battery charging system became active and the vehicle started to charge the battery as designed. Test drove the vehicle and found the car runs normal with no issues. REC charging the hybrid battery. NOTE: please advise customer to drive the vehicle for a while after electrical repairs to set all the monitors.
